ABOUT

Univative 2021

Univative is a 4-week inter-university competition which demands students from different disciplines to create solutions to real-life business problems.

As a part of the competition, I had the chance to work 4 other people who I have never met before. But as teammates, we supported each other throughout the whole journey, with clear communication, respect and understanding. Our team has won the SCIA project.

SCIA Project

Spinal Cord Injuries Australia is a non-government organisation advocating for people with spinal cord injuries and similar conditions to advance their rights, choices and entitlements.

They collaborated with The Accessible Group and asked us to come up with a pitch deck, a business report, and a pitch video to pitch to Tourism Australia, other state and peak bodies to encourage accommodation providers to embrace accessibility.
The opening and the end of the pitch video that I made, using Adobe Premiere Pro, footage from Pexels.
(The full video belongs to SCIA and The Accessible Group, the rest of the video is contributed by my teammates' footage and for confidentiality reason, it will not be shown)
Univative 2021 was the greatest learning experience for me as I stepped up to take the leader role, did all the task outside my study field such as looking up ways to write an executive, learning about a business plan, and took the responsibility to create that pitch video.

I would never have achieved such great things without my amazing teammates, mentors and project hosts.
